In the Central African Republic, a cholera outbreak is affecting the health districts of Bangui 2, Bimbo and Mbaïki, along the Ubangi River.
According to data published by UNICEF on 14 July 2026, 435 suspected cases and 36 deaths had been reported as of 6 July. Children under the age of ten accounted for 44% of reported cases.
