The President’s Message
Breast Cancer Awareness Month: prevention today and throughout the year
October is a key time for breast cancer awareness and prevention. It invites us to become better informed, to talk about screening and to support people affected by the disease.
But prevention should not be limited to October alone. Taking care of our health, paying attention to changes in our bodies, seeking advice from a healthcare professional and completing recommended examinations are important steps throughout the year.
Behind every journey are a person, a family and loved ones. No one should have to face illness in isolation.
Together, let us continue to inform accurately, prevent responsibly and support one another with humanity, in October and throughout the year.
